Kathy Joyce
After photographing families and events for more than 31 years, I am proud to be able to show you a sample of my work here. Over the years, my camera and I have had the distinct honor and pleasure of preserving many wonderful moments in time. I have waited and watched as human nature revealed itself to me. The magic of it all never ceases to amaze me.
Photography is my work, but it is also my passion. Doing what I enjoy the most makes me feel like I’m on top of the world. I start each new project with a curious mind, a sharp eye and a kind heart. It is such a pleasure for me when my clients open their doors, hearts and minds to me and my camera. I am able to use what is inside me to reveal the true beauty of my subject, and it is a blessing for both of us. Through the camera’s eye, the people in my photographs speak to you and tell you about themselves.
How lucky I am to have a gift for making beautiful images, but it is also important to me to use my photography to help people and organizations. I have volunteered my time and talent for Brain Cancer Research at Beth Isreal, Windrush Farm Therapeutic Equitation, Lazarus House Ministries Good Shepherd Center, North Shore Youth Symphony Orchestra, Summer Strings in Lawrence, the PTO and Earth Day events. Photography for the greater good!
